VIDALIA — Services for Lois Ables Waller, 81, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La., will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Sycamore Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Waller and the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Waller was born March 28, 1933, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of George Ables and Rutha Fredericks Ables.

She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Mrs. Waller was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hershel Harrison Waller; one son, Wayne Waller; one sister, Jessie Wallace; and one grandson, Geoffrey A. LaPrarie.

Survivors include one daughter, Elaine LaPrarie and husband, Gerald LaPrarie Sr., of Dry Prong, La.; two sons, Glenn Waller and wife, Relda, of Greenwood and Gary Waller and wife, Pam, of Vidalia; two brothers, Benton Ables of Vidalia and Charles Ables and wife, Irene, of Ferriday; five sisters, Norma Byrnes, Annie Swillie and Doris Free and husband, Jay, all of Vidalia, Katherine Ezell of Winnsboro, La., and Mary Ann Smith and husband, Miles, of Ferriday; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Trevor Waller, Mathus Waller, Tylor McGlothlin, Nathaniel Distefano, Mitchel McGlothlin Jr., Roger Dale Waller and Kevin Waller.
