NATCHEZ — Services for Dorothy Ree Harris, 72, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at her residence, will at noon Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Franklin County, the daughter of Foster James Jr. and Thelma James.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served on the mother board.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Harris; one grandson, Edwin Harris; one sister, Geneva Wright; and one brother, Louis James.

Survivors include three loving and devoted daughters, Lorna Jett and husband, William, Lisa Hayes and husband, Adolph, and Linda Wilson and husband, Tyron; two brothers, Lawrence James and wife, Lula, and Joseph James and wife, Delores; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
