NATCHEZ — A Natchez man has been charged with attempted murder for his role in a shooting in McComb.
Tremaine Deshawn Perry, 32, 11 Old Smith Lane, was arrested by Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies at his address on a warrant from the McComb Police Department.
At the time of his arrest, Perry’s booking sheet at the county jail read “foreign warrant,” but an ACSO spokesperson confirmed Monday the charge against him is attempted murder.
The ACSO spokesperson said Perry is alleged to have fired a gun into an occupied residence in McComb.
Officials with the McComb Police Department did not respond to a request for further information Monday afternoon.
Perry was arrested without incident, and was later transferred to the authorities in McComb.
