FERRIDAY — Services for Jonathan D. Davis, 42, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, will be at noon Saturday at Mount Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born Feb. 2, 1972, in Pineville, La., the son of Arthur Leon Davis and Mildred Hall Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother of Ferriday; four sons, Judah Davis of Memphis, Tenn., Darryl and John Powell, both of Clayton, and Jonte Parker of Forest Park, Ga.; four brothers, Arthur Johnson, Tyrone Milligan and Carlos Plains, all of Ferriday, and Valrick Davis of New Orleans; six sisters, Karena McClain and husband, Edgar, of Natchez, Venitra Davis of Ridgecrest, Lorraine Hall of Ferriday, Cheryl Wren and husband, Anthony, of Slidell, La., Cynthia Davis of New Orleans and Sandra Gibson and husband, Leon, of Mobile, Ala.; 12 aunts; five uncles; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
