Ramona Irene Dickerson Harrigill

NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Ramona Irene Dickerson Harrigill, 77, of Roxie, who died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow at Roxie City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time service today at the funeral home.

Harrigill was born on Jan. 29, 1937 on Log Cabin Road in Franklin County, the daughter of T.J. Dickerson and Evelyn T. Dickerson.

She was a loving mother and a follower of Jesus Christ. She was employed by J.M. Jones Lumber Company for 50 years and was a member of Stanton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby B. Harrigill; her parents; and sister, Peggy D. Harrigill.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Harrigill of Roxie; son, the Rev. Mike Harrigill and wife, Janice, of Natchez; her daughter, Vickie Lagrone of Roxie; four grandchildren, the Rev. jay Avance, DeAnn Avance, Sheila Jaime and Ryan Harrigill and wife, Devon; one sister, Ginger Priest and husband, Jimmy, of Natchez; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Harrigill and Larry Harrigill.

Pallbearers will be Randy Babb, Terrell Foster, Ryan Harrigill, Howard Jones, Ricky Long and Gray McIntosh.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Rev. Jay Avance, Lee Jones, the employees of J.M. Jones Lumber Company, Michael Mullins and the members of Stanton Baptist Church.
