UNION CHURCH — Services for Brenda Kay Good, 54, who died Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Block United Methodist Church in Union Church with the Rev. Johnny Irving officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Good was the sixth bundle of joy and the second daughter born to Mr. M.L. Good Sr. and Lillie V. Starks Good.
She joined church at an early age. She was a faithful and active member of Hickory Block United Methodist Church until her decreasing health gradually prevailed.
Ms. Good was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Gary Good; maternal grandmother, Mary Fleming; paternal grandmother, Hattie Good; and one aunt, Lee Ethel Levison.
Survivors include one son, Tyrone Good; her dedicated and loving mother; six brothers, Joe Lee Good and wife, Diane, James Ray Good and wife, Patricia, M.L. Good Jr. and wife, Tabatha, Michael Good, Donald Wayne Good and wife, Connie, all of Natchez, and Randy Good of Dallas; one sister, Patricia Ann Patterson and husband, Ronnie; one adopted sister, Bianca Good, all of Natchez; three uncles, James Sanders and Alex Fleming, both of Fayette, and Johnnie Fleming of Pineville, La.; three aunts, L.T. Good of Natchez, Essie Lee Johnson of New Orleans and Dorothy Clark of Flint, Mich.; and a number of loving and wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
