FERRIDAY — Services for Linda Nell Seward, 67, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rodgers Cemetery in Clayton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Seward was born June 13, 1947, in Laurel, the daughter of Bolen Clifford Seals and Odie Allday Seals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Tommy Seals, Jeff Seals, Calvin Seals and Jimmie Seals; and one sister, Betty Wall.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lynell Seward; one son, Johnny Seals Sr. of Ferriday; two daughters, Lesa Jackson and husband, Tommy, of Mooringsport, La., and Misty Seward of Ferriday; three brothers, Lavelle Seals and wife, Mamie, of Gloster, Erby Seals and wife, Dianne, of Monterey and J.C. Seals of Ferriday; one sister, Cathy Micheau of Ferriday; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Wall, Shelton Seals, Chris Seals, Roger Seals, Byron Pool, Brian McJimsey, Rennee Wall and Tony Wall.
