NATCHEZ — The Natchez-Adams County Metro Narcotics Division seized an estimated $8,000 worth of narcotics at 15 Alice Lane Thursday, the conclusion of a three-month undercover investigation.
Torre Robinson Sr., 36, and Leticia Jones, 40, were arrested at their Alice Lane residence at approximately 2 p.m. Agents conducting the undercover investigation obtained a search warrant for the home Thursday morning.
“We seized about an ounce-and-a-half of methamphetamines, a half-ounce of cocaine, almost one ounce of high-grade marijuana and $700 in cash,” said Lt. George Pirky, metro agent for the Adam’s County Sheriff’s office. “This had been an ongoing, intense investigation.”
Two pistols and one rifle were also recovered from the residence.
Jones was released on a $7,500 bond while Robinson is still being held at the Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office under a $45,000 bond.
Robinson was charged with two counts possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent, possession of schedule II controlled substance (powder cocaine) with intent, possession of schedule I controlled substance (marijuana) with intent, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a weapon by convicted felony.
Jones’s charges included acting in concert to possession and intent of methamphetamine, powder cocaine and marijuana.
Compared to other arrests, Pirky said this raid was significant.
“We have a confidential informant in an undercover capacity who goes in and purchases narcotics from the dealer,” Pirky explained. “We had been pursuing this (residence) for a while.”
