NATCHEZ — The Pilgrimage Garden Club has announced its 2015 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The court will serve the Pilgrimage Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage, March 7-April 7.

Patsy Kathryn Coffey

Patsy Kathryn Coffey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Coffey, is a 2012 graduate of Trinity Episcopal School. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Harmon and the late Dr. John D. Coffey and Patsy Coffey, all of Natchez.

She is currently a student at the University of Mississippi, where she is majoring in nursing.

Coffey is member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Tri Delta sorority at Ole Miss. Her hobbies include baking and spending time with family and friends.

Coffey’s past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Flower Girl in the Wedding, Frontier Person, Bridesmaid in the Wedding, Sister of the Bride, Polka, Picnic and Can-Can.

Martha Ann Ellard

Martha Ann Ellard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ellard, is a 2012 graduate of Cathedral High School. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ellard, Mrs. Opal Vines and the late Mr. Reese Vines, all of Natchez.

She is currently a student at Mississippi State University where she is majoring in kinesiology.

Ellard is a member of Delta Gamma sorority, Pinelake church in Starkville, the MSU Relay for Life team and the National Honor Society. She has been on the president’s list at MSU. Her hobbies include volunteering for the humane society, deer hunting and running.

Ellard’s past participation on the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Polka Favor Girl, Soiree and Soiree Sweetheart and the Wedding.

Katie Elizabeth Ernst

Katie Elizabeth Ernst, the daughter of Joseph Gunning and the late Anna Watts Gunning and Robert Ernst, is a 2011 graduate of Cathedral High School. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Johnny Watts and Ms. Margaret Watts and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gunning, all of Natchez.

She is currently a student at the University of New Orleans where she is majoring in secondary education with a minor in earth sciences. She is a member of the Future Teachers Club, Key Club, Arbor House, Community Partners and Habitat for Humanity. She is on the dean’s list and president’s list at the University of New Orleans. Ernst’s hobbies include painting, music, hiking and cooking.

Sheera Shelby Lum

Sheera Shelby Lum, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Douglas Lum Jr. of Port Gibson. She is a 2013 graduate of Van Dorn Academy. She is the granddaughter of the late Sim C. Dulaney Jr. and Catherine Gunn Delaney of Port Gibson. She is currently attending Hinds Community College, where she is majoring in chemical engineering. Lum is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Hinds Connections. Lum’s hobbies include running, piano and ukulele.

Her past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole and the Picnic.

Havilah Catherine Lum

Havilah Catherine Lum, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Douglas Lum, is a 2012 graduate of Van Dorn Academy. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Brady Lum and the late William Douglas Lum Sr., Mrs. Catherine Gunn Dulaney and the late Sim C. Dulaney Jr. from Clarksdale, who currently reside in Port Gibson.

She has attended Ingredients Trainee With Dance Revolution of Southlake, Texas, and Harvest School Iris Global in Mozambique, Africa. Her major is focus dance and missions.

She is a member of the Dance Revolution, Iris Global and Ballet Magnificat. Lum’s hobbies include dance and travel.

Her past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole and the Picnic.

Sarah Kathryn Meng

Sarah Kathryn Meng, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Travis Meng, is a 2012 graduate of Union Grove High School in McDonough, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Marjorie Field Meng and the late Lester Joseph Meng Jr. of Natchez, and Kathryn Lambert Brooks and the late Joseph Marion Brooks, Jr. of Atlanta.

She is currently attending Auburn University where she is majoring in psychology and plans to pursue a career as a marine mammal trainer. She is a volunteer at the Georgia Aquarium, where she works as a gallery host and a whale shark research assistant.

In 2013, she completed an internship at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Center in Wales, U.K. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and serves on the Student Alumni Association and as a swim team hostess. In her free time, Meng enjoys snorkeling and traveling.

Her past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole before moving to Atlanta.

Jordan Elaine Nettles

Jordan Elaine Nettles, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ronnie Nettles, is a 2012 graduate of Wesson High School. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Nettles of Eddiceton, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tebbetts of Natchez and the late Wally Jones of Natchez.

She is currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is majoring in English with a minor in public relations and French.

Nettles is a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, serving as vice president of the foundation; Study Abroad Peer Advisory Board; Eagle Connection; USM Women’s Choir, Catholic Student Association; Honors College; National Merit Presidential Scholarship; Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society; Golden Key Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She enjoys singing, playing piano and guitar and spending time at Lake Concordia.

Her past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux was in the Little Maypole, Big Maypole and the Picnic.

Sarah Beth Willard

Sarah Beth Willard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Willard, is a 2013 graduate of Cathedral High School. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Willard, Mr. James W. Overton, the late Mrs. Bethany Lambdin Overton and the late Mr. Waldo P. Lambdin, all of Natchez.

Willard is currently attending Louisiana State University, where she is majoring in fashion merchandising with a minor in business. Willard is a member of the Chi Omega sorority, Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society, Chi Omega Intramural basketball team and the Fashion Club Hemline.

She enjoys traveling, fashion, playing tennis and cheering on her LSU tigers.

Willard’s past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux was Little Maypole, Page, Big Maypole, Placard Bearer and Polka.

Generals

Phillip Clay Ballard

Phillip Clay Ballard, is the son of Dr. and Mrs. John J. Ballard, and is a 2011 graduate of George Jenkins Sr. High School. He is the grandson of Mrs. Sallie J. Ballard of Natchez, Patricia Aguillard and Mr. and Mrs. Rayford G. Aguillard all of Lake Charles, La.

Ballard is currently attending Polk State College, where he is majoring in the physical therapy assistant program. He is an active member with the All State Choir and was chosen his senior year to perform Rutter’s Requiem at Carnegie Hall with a national choir and was selected to perform in the Candlelight Processional at Epcot in Florida. He is active in the theater and enjoys writing music and playing the piano and bass guitar.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Wheelroller in Showboat and Virginia Reel dancer in the Picnic and a Court General in Spring 2014.

Martin Trosclair Charboneau

Martin Trosclair Charboneau is the son of Douglas and Regina Trosclair Charboneau and is a 2010 graduate of Senate Page School in Washington, D.C., and 2011 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. He is the grandson of the late Ellen Frances Sanguinetti Trosclair and Mr. Joseph Phillip Trosclair and Mrs. Rosemary Soukup Charboneau and the late Mr. Jean Charboneau, both of Minneapolis.

He is currently attending New York University where he is majoring in creative and dramatic writing. Charboneau was published in the Minetta Review. He enjoys stand-up comedy, theater and cooking.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes the Little Maypole, Big Maypole and Polka.

Oran Lucas Cockerham

Oran Lucas Cockerham, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Cockerham, is a 2010 graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Tradewell of Vidalia and the late Henry and Leeora Cockerham of Ferriday.

He is currently attending Louisiana State University where he is majoring in history with a minor in business administration. He is an intern for the Louisiana Secretary of State, a member of Phi Alpha Theta, Zeta-Eta Honor Society, the Society of Student Historians and the College Republican Alliance. He is a volunteer at the Louisiana Old State Capitol and Natchez Festival of Music. He has been a tour guide during the Natchez Pilgrimages for seven years. Cockerham enjoys music.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes the Showboat and the Hunt.

Julius Carter Smith

Julius Carter Smith, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Emory Smith, is a 2013 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Gwin, Jr., Mr. Weathersby Godbold Carter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Thermon Smith, all of Natchez.

Smith is currently attending the University of Mississippi, where he is majoring in banking and finance.

He is a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and employed by the University of Mississippi Foundation. He enjoys hunting, fishing, tennis and basketball.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Raising of the Flag and Polka.

Jacob Rance McKinney

Jacob Rance McKinney, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard McKinney, is a 2012 graduate of Cathedral High School. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Michael G. Pevey, the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben R. McKinney and the late Ms. Sandra Brewer.

He currently attends Delta State University, where he is majoring in nursing. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 158 in Natchez. McKinney enjoys hunting, fishing, soccer and Ole Miss football.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Wheelroller in the Showboat, the Indian, Frontiersman and the French Flag bearer in Raising of the Flag, Soiree for four years where he danced lead in 2012 and Court General in 2014.

Timothy Dale Matheney

Timothy Dale Matheney, the son of Mrs. Stephanie Serio Smith and Mr. Tim Matheney, is a 2013 graduate of Cathedral High School. He is the grandson of the late S. Barnett and Carolyn T. Serio and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Matheney of Keokuk, Iowa.

He is currently attending the University of Mississippi where he is majoring in history. Matheney is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, pledge class vice president, College Republicans and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoys soccer, hunting, golf and Ole Miss football.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Polka, Soiree, Drummer for Court, Flag Bearer for Court and Confederate Flag Runner.

John Dalton Smith

John Dalton Smith, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David D. Smith, is a 2012 graduate of Adams County Christian School. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bryant and Ted F. Preddy of Shreveport, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Seth Smith. He attended Hinds Community College and graduated with an associate’s degree in 2014. Smith currently attends the University of Southern Mississippi, where he is majoring in kiniesiotherapy.

He was on the dean’s list at Hinds Community College and a member of the Hinds soccer team. Smith enjoys hunting, golf and jiu jitsu.

His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Ring Bearer, Jefferson Davis Wedding, Picnic, Showboat, Big Maypole, Virginia Reel, Fisher Boy, Showboat, Rebel Flag Runner and Court General 2012.

Justin Kent Allgood

Justin Kent Allgood, the son of Jim and Carla Allgood, is a 2014 graduate of Adams County Christian School. He is the grandson of Ms. Melba Wisner and the late Glendol W. Wisner and the late Ann W. Allgood and Kent Allgood all of Natchez.

He currently attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College with plans to attend the University of Mississippi in the fall of 2015 with a concentration in the pre-medical field. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and First Baptist Church. Allgood enjoys hunting, fishing and sports. His past participation in the Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Soiree, Fisher Boy and The Wedding.

Jane Carruthers Carby

Jane Carruthers Carby is the daughter of Lee and Hyde Carby and big sister to Walker Carby. She is the granddaughter of Stella and Philip Carby of Natchez and Jan and Mike P. Sturdivant Jr. of Itta Bena. She is the great-granddaughter of Bettye and the late Hyde D. “Sonny” Jenkins, the late Phoebe and the late Elmer Carby of Natchez, Jane and the late Ewing Carruthers of Memphis, Tenn., Ygondine and the late Mike P. Sturdivant of Glendora.

Jane is a ninth generation Natchezian and participated in the Little Maypole in 2013 and 2014.

She attends preschool at Cathedral Elementary School, has a great sense of humor and enjoys singing, baking and crafting.

Wade “Webb” Weathersby Ratcliffe Jr.

Wade “Webb” Weathersby Ratcliffe Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Ratcliffe of Hattiesburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Ratcliffe of Natchez, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Duncan of Morganfield, Ky.

He is currently a kindergarten student at the Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg and a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg.

He enjoys gymnastics, fishing, wildlife and science. His past participation in Historic Natchez Tableaux includes Little Maypole.

Ryker Atkins

Ryker Atkins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Atkins Jr. of Natchez. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds Leon Atkins Sr. of Natchez, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Loy of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Dykes of Greenville.

He is currently a kindergarten student at Cathedral Elementary School.

He enjoys riding four wheelers, hunting and dinosaurs.
