NATCHEZ — Services for William Edward “Pee Wee” Anderson, 75, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

A celebration of life wake service will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mr. Anderson was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Natchez, the son of William Ronnie Jackson and Julia Lee Anderson Blanton.

He was a graduate of St. Francis High School and was retired from Pepsico Industry Company.

William was Catholic.

He enjoyed reading, watching cowboy shows, singing and teaching his grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel Ruth Anderson; three brothers, Francis “Frank” Blanton, Otis Blanton Jr. and Eddie Lee Jackson; and stepfather, Otis Blanton Sr.

Survivors include three sons, Dwight Anderson of Detroit, Xavier Anderson of California and William “June” Baker and wife, Angel; one daughter, Quandre “Vicky” Anderson Sims and husband, Tommy, of Detroit; one brother, the Rev. Melvin Jackson and wife, Irma; sister and caregiver, Patsy Jackson White and husband, Donald; special aunt, Edith Jackson; two special moms, Jessie Clark Jackson and Josephine Jackson Gamble; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
