NATCHEZ — Services for Donna Margaret Hall, 79, of Natchez, formerly of Greenwood, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at her residence, will be at noon Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Woods officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Hall was born Jan. 21, 1936, in Franklin County, the daughter of Willis Loyd Hall and Willie Marie Ratcliff Hall.

She was a pillar and co-founder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Greenwood. She oversaw the construction and the furnishing of the church.

Ms. Hall was also the church secretary and a supporter of a number of charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy Roger “Nig” Hall and Alton Loyd “Jobby” Hall.

She was joined in the afterlife by her brother-in-law, Edward Lee Murray.

Survivors include two sisters, Rachel Hall Murray and Barbara Hall Leigh, both of Natchez; four nephews, Glen Allen Hall, James L. “Jimmy” Murray and wife, Linda, Matthew Hall Leigh and wife, Morgan, all of Natchez, and Steven Wayne Hall and wife, Erin, of Tupelo; five nieces, Donna Marie Bradshaw and husband, Jerry, of Morgan, Ark., Dianna Bailey and husband, Billy, of Huber Springs, Ark., Denise Courson and husband, Jerry, of Star City, Ark., Robin Hall Wilson and husband, Melvin, of Brandon and Michelle Murray Donald and husband, David, of Natchez; two sisters-in-law, Ella Rogillio Hall of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Peggy Sanders Hall Hill of Natchez; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Patty Lee, Mary Grace Carnaggio and Patrice Carnaggio; and all of Greenwood and members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be Glen Hall, Jimmy Murray, Matthew Leigh, David Donald, Murray Donald and James Murray.

Memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness or to a charity of choice.
