MEADVILLE — Funeral services for Harold E. Ezell, 88, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home with the Rev. Julius Roberts and Rev. Marvin Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Ezell was born on Feb. 11, 1927, in Franklin County, to Morell and Fannie Sanders Ezell.
Ezell was a member of Natchez Church of God. He was a retired security guard from Natchez Regional Medical Center and managed Thom McCann Shoe store in Natchez. He served in the United States Army and was a loving, gentle man who was always looking out for others.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlene Holland Ezell; grandson, Terry Lynn Ezell Jr.; brothers, Everett, Farrell, Charles and Hubert Ezell; and sister, Agnes Ezell West.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Lynn Ezell Sr. and wife, Debbie, of Savanah, and Harold E. Ezell Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Waxahachie, Texas; brothers, M.L. Ezell and wife, Marilyn, of Meadville, and Freddie Ezell of Belton, Texas; sisters, Helen Havard, Margie Halford, Dorothy Powell and Ena Jackson, all of Natchez; grandchildren, Layne Ezell and wife, Ashley, Timothy Ezell and Lori Ezell and Brad; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
