FERRIDAY — Funeral Services for Marvis Glendon Chandler, 86, of Ferriday, who died Feb. 20, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Curtis Lambright officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Chandler was born July 25, 1928, in Strong, Ark., to son of James C. ad Callie N. Halsey Chandler.

Chandler was a lifelong residence of Ferriday and was a fantastic Carpenter and a member of Living Church of God. All that knew him will surely miss him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Margie Lee Chandler; his parents; and three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Rita Hall of Texarcana, Ark., Janice Chandler of Natchez and Joyce Cupit and husband, Richard, of Natchez; grandchildren, Tim Hall and wife, Roibin, Whit Hall and wife, Van, Chris Hall and wife, Mary Pat, Erin Skipper and husband, Eric, David Cupit and wife, Lacie, and Anthony Cupit and wife, Crystel; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Garrett Hall, Shelby and Wyatt Hall, Hunter and Marley Hall, Zac, Tony, Skylar and Jake Cox, Morgan, Bailey, Keilan and Mason Skipper, Riley and Annalise Cupit and Leilan, Olivia and Sophia Cupit; sister, Faydell Gallendar of Vidalia; and a very special loving friend and companion of 16 years, Theda Collins of Waterproof.

Pallbearers will be Tim Hall, Whit Hall, Chris hall, Tony Cox, Skylar Cox and Anthony Cupit.
