VIDALIA — Services for Coretta Lewis, 45, of Vidalia, who died Monday, March 2, 2015, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Raymond Riley Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Lewis was born Oct. 16, 1969, in Vicksburg, the daughter of Andrew and Toisetta Ellis Lewis.

She was employed by Angola Penitentiary as a correctional officer.

Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents and one aunt, Ruth Wilson.

Survivors include one brother, Ernest Ellis and wife, Phyllis, of Ferriday; one uncle, Leon Wilson of Vidalia; one niece, Ernestine Davis and husband, Tracy, of Cartersville, Ga.; two nephews, the Rev. Julius McCray and wife, Shirley, of Ruston, La., and Fred McCray of Ferriday; two great-nephews, Francis Duncan of Jacksonville, Ala., and Brandon Duncan of Ferriday; one great-niece, Jocelyn Duncan of Piedmont, Ala.; two special friends, Robyn Gordon and Katrina Moore, both of Vicksburg; and a number of cousins; godparents, Ernestine Ellis and Foster Ellis; and five godbrothers.
