NATCHEZ — Services for Candice Marie Walker, 24, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church on McGehee Road.

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

A celebration of life wake service will be at 5 p.m., and visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Walker was born Aug. 6, 1990, in Natchez, the daughter of James Walker and Diana Walker.

She was a graduate of Natchez High School and had received her license in billing and coding from Jefferson County Tech Center.

Candice was employed by MTC Correctional Facility as a correction officer.

She was affiliated with Fourth Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed talking and texting on the phone, using the computer, shopping, spending time with her daughter and parents and talking with her granddaddy.

Survivors include her parents; one son, Israel Allen Walker; one daughter, Ziyyon Marie Carter; one brother, Dontae Walker; one sister, Kristen Walker; grandfather, John Brooks; and other relatives and friends.
