FROGMORE — Services for Dorothy Leonard, 62, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Leonard was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Frogmore, the daughter of Eddie Smith Sr. and Alice Leonard Fields.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Mitchell Leonard and wife, Jackie, of Houston and Percy Jefferson Jr. of Cartersville, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Leonard and Margaret Sheppard and husband, Alvin, all of Ferriday; four brothers, David Leonard of Ferriday, James Leonard and wife, Geraldine, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Michael Leonard of Baton Rouge and Eddie Smith and wife, Brenda, of Vidalia; three sisters, Daisy Leonard of Ferriday, Hurley Jean Humphries and Brenda Carter, both of Cartersville; 14 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
