EDDICETON — Services for Patti Myers, 61, who died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, La., will be at 11 a.m. today at Eddiceton Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Eddiceton Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Myers was born May 21, 1953, the daughter of W.B. McManus and Jean Ferguson McManus.
She was employed by Peoples Bank of the South for a number of years and was currently employed at United Mississippi Bank in Bude. She greeted everyone with an infectious smile and laugh. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining friends and family.
Patti was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and wife of 33 years to her husband, Marvin Myers. She was a wonderful person that will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Jason Rappel and wife, Stacey, of Purvis; one brother, Glen McManus and wife, Gwen, of Natchez; two grandchildren, Cole and Natalie Reppel; one nephew, Hank McManus; one niece, Kelly Pugh; and a very special young lady, Kaylee Brook Blackwell.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Myers, Kevin Barnes, Dalton Travis, Charles Case, Conley Greer and Randy Smith.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their post, calls, visits and prayers during a very difficult time. A special thanks to all the employees at Peoples Bank and Patti’s traveling “crew,” Nell Bolt, Jean McGehee, Pat Buckles and Shirley Wallace.
Also a very special thank you to the CCU nursing staff at Iberia Medical Center.
