NATCHEZ — Services of Vernon Ray “Wild Hog” Isaac, 50, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 13, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Union Missionary Baptist Church.03:20 VernonRIsaac obitpic

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 5:45 p.m. today with a celebration of life wake service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday at 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Isaac was born Aug. 6, 1964, in Natchez, the son of Beverly Isaac Jr. and Laura Mae Wilson Isaac.

He was a 1983 graduate of North Natchez “Rams” High School and a 1985 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Vernon was a member of Second Union Baptist Church and LF&C Society. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, playing football and caring for dogs.

Mr. Isaac was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Beverly Isaac Sr. and Leola Isaac.

Survivors include one son, Jaramy Johnson; one brother, Carl Nelson; one sister, Angie Isaac; grandmother, Beulah Irving and husband, Arthur; five grandchildren, Brendan Johnson, DeAndrew Johnson, Makayla Johnson, Johnny Parker, all of Natchez, and Jayven Henry of Beaumont, Texas; and other relatives and friends.
