NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Francis Daryl Young Sr., 78, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Crown Health and Rehab in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Young was born Sept. 12, 1936, in Natchez, the son of Walter Daniel Young and Laura Margaret O’Malley Young.

He was the former owner of Young Plumbing Company and former co-owner of Annette’s Blossom Shop.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Otto Young, Walter Young and Ronald Young; and one sister, Laura Young.

Survivors include his wife, Annette White Young; one son, Francis Daryl Young Jr.; one daughter, Kathryn Young Shell and husband, Ken, all of Natchez; two sisters, Miriam Hammett of Kinder, La., and Effie Lena Jett of Jackson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
