NATCHEZ — The pews were full Friday morning at Christ Community Church on Quitman Street, but it was clothing, not people, filling the seats.

The Rev. Darlene Pickett and Healen Brooks of the Leading Ladies Society, Inc. were laying out Easter dresses and suits the women collected to give to deserving children for the holidays Friday and plan to continue to give the donated clothing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church Saturday.

Below are more pictures of the first day of the event.
