Three face burglary charges in parish

VIDALIA — Three Concordia Parish men are behind bars after being charged with burglarizing an empty dwelling.

David M. Scott III, 18, 203 Carolina Ave., Ferriday; Tony Lamont Bethley, 18, 361 Doty Road, Ferriday; and Kitrell Demoon Williams, 17, 705 Vidalia Drive, Ridgecrest, were all arrested Saturday on charges of simple burglary and contributing to delinquency of juvenile.

Vidalia Assistant Police Chief Bruce Wiley said the three were arrested Saturday after allegedly breaking into an unoccupied house on Oak Street in Vidalia.

The three allegedly took electronic equipment from the house.

Wiley said they were also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile because two juveniles were present with them at the time of the burglary.

All three were detained Monday at the Concordia Parish jail on bonds of $30,310.
