Mr. and Mrs. Conn Kenneth McCalip of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Elizabeth McCalip to James Mims McLeod, son of Col. and Mrs. James Robby McLeod of Fannin.
The bride-to-be is an honor graduate of Cathedral School in Natchez, a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville and received her master’s from Southeastern University in Hammond, La.
She is employed by Spectrum Rehabilitation Services in Denham Springs, La., as a contract counselor and is currently pursuing her licensed professional counselor designation.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rushing of Meadville and Mrs. Gwen S. McCalip and the late F. Kenneth McCalip of Natchez.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood and is an Eagle Scout. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
He is employed as a business analyst by Schneider Electric Global headquartered in Boston.
He is the grandson of Mr. Robert P. Mims and the late Mrs. Virginia Mims of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Edward McLeod of Fannin.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 16, 2015, at antebellum Routhland, home of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Ratcliffe.
A jazz brunch will follow at Routhland.
