Mr. and Mrs. A. Darin Pecanty of Maumelle, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Stephan of Monroe, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Piper Victoria Pecanty to Justin Ross Tillman, son of Col. and Mrs. Tommy Tillman Jr. of Crystal Springs.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ouachita Christian School in Monroe and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science. She is employed by Copiah Bank in Richland.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Pecanty of Vidalia, Mr. J. Douglas Winn of Bastrop, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bonnette of Monroe.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Copiah Academy in Crystal Springs and also a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science. He is currently a nursing student at the Hinds School of Nursing.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Cooper and Ms. Linda Tillman and the late Mr. Tommy Tillman Sr., all of Crystal Springs.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015, at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe.

A reception will follow at The Howard Center.
