VIDALIA — Services for Louretha Marshall Hogan, 84, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at her residence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bethel Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Troy Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery, beside her husband, Joseph, under the direction of the Rev. Troy Thomas.
Visitation will be at 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hogan was born June 15, 1930, in Vidalia, the daughter of Lee and Effie Litt Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one sister, Maeola Marshall Turner.
Survivors include one daughter, Joann H. Johnson and husband, Tommy, of Ferriday; two sisters, Annie B. Moore of St. Joseph, La., and Lee Ester Marshall of Norwalk, Calif.; four grandchildren, Reniece Hogan Small and husband, Bertram, of Austell, Ga., Johanna Hogan of Texarkana, Texas, Ramon Hogan and Tyanna Johnson, both of Ferriday; five great-grandchildren, Chersonny Small of Douglasville, Ga., Danterrio Hogan and Jakari Hogan, both of Texarkana, Myanna Powell of Ferriday and Bertram Small Jr. of Austell; and one great-great-grandchild, Mariah Anderson of Douglasville.
