FERRIDAY — Services for Francis Marilyn Johnson, 71, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Jerry Sharp officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Clayton, the daughter of Coy Rogers and Roby Robertson Rogers.

She was a lifelong resident of Concordia Parish and worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Howard Minor and R. Morris Johnson; and one brother, Wesley Dalton Rogers.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Johnson and wife, Milu, and Jeff Johnson; three grandsons, Christopher, Gregory and Nathan Johnson; one sister, Fanita Goodfellow and husband, Harry; and a number of nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law, Shirley Rogers.

Pallbearers will be Lamar Goodfellow, John Hughes, Christopher Johnson, Gregory Johnson, Paul Patterson and David Whatley.
