Ms. Jan Porter Lowe of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe of Austin, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Braswell Lowe to Daniel Lee Hollowell, son of Ms. Ann Hollowell and Mr. David Hollowell, both of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez, a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville and is receiving her doctorate of physical therapy in May from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Porter and the late Mr. Charles Ned Porter of Natchez, Mrs. Judy Rand and the late Mr. Dlynn Braswell of Natchez and Mrs. Judy Colley of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Mr. Dale Lowe of Clovis, N.M.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of of Cathedral School in Natchez, a graduate of the University of South Alabama in Mobile and is attending the nurse anesthesia program at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in Tupelo.

He is the grandson of Mr. Orvis Marlow of Natchez and the late Mrs. Inez Marlow and Mrs. Martha Hollowell of Vicksburg and the late Mr. Freeman Hollowell.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, at The Briars in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Briarvue.
