Roderick Ransom and Tywanna Johnson announce the engagement of their daughter, Johana Ransom to Donta Brown, son of Frank and Daisy Nicholson, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services and At Home Care in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Bessie Ransom and Nancy Mosby, both of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School. He is employed by Glenburney Nursing Home.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015, at New Hope the Vision Center.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.
