FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Memorial services for “Jan” Georgianna Prine, 69, who died Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. today at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach.

Ms. Prine was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Natchez, the daughter of George Alec Gunter and Ruby Nell Applewhite Gunter of Natchez.

Jan retired from the Okaloosa County School Board where she had worked for a number of years at Choctawhatchee High School and Bruner Junior High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Katie Prine Robinson of Fort Walton Beach; one son, Blaine Prine and wife, Sarah Dailey, of Loudon, Tenn.; one sister, Kathie A. Blaine and husband, C. Dorman Blaine, of Knoxville, Tenn.; four grandsons, Addison Robinson and Garrett, Cole and Jackson Prine; and four nephew and nieces, Alec Blaine, Melissa Harrison, Susannah Dunn and Mary Hannah MacCurdy, all of Knoxville.
