James “Jimmy” Watson of Nesmith, Ala., and Elaine Pitts of Hanceville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kellie Renea Watson to Malcolm Russell “Russ” Smith, son of Bill and Judy Smith of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Addison High School in Addison, Ala., and a graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

She is employed by Regions Corporation in Birmingham, Ala.

She is the granddaughter of Florene Watson of Nesmith and the late Basiel Watson and the late Jack and Margaret Burns of Hanceville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of South Natchez High School and a graduate of Hinds Community College in Raymond.

He is employed by Business Interiors in Ridgeland.

He is the grandson of Kirby and Jewell Carlock of Natchez, the late Winfred McGehee and Bobbie Jean Smith of Natchez and the late Malcolm Smith.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Rosalie in Natchez.
