Vernon Stevens, public information officer for the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, said after interviewing several suspects, the CPSO was led to Wright.

After locating Wright at his residence, officers allegedly found one of the stolen handguns in Wright’s vehicle.

Upon his arrest, Wright was charged with obstruction of justice, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated burglary and accessory after the fact.

No bond had been set Tuesday afternoon.

Stevens said Wright’s alleged involvement in the burglary is still under investigation.

“Whoever else burglarized the home is still at large,” Stevens said.

Currently, Stevens said investigators suspect that several people were involved in the burglary.
