Mayfair is a word that has been associated with Trinity Episcopal School for many years. It has undergone many changes throughout the years.

This year’s Mayfair and More will be a fantastic day event filled with many exciting activities for all ages. Our theme is ’70s Flower Power.

The community is encouraged to attend on the Trinity Campus.  Mayfair will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.

Kid Zone will include inflatable jumpers, obstacle course, and many game booths. A $20 armband will grant unlimited access to the Kid Zone area. The hours for these activities will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

After Kid Zone closes, there will be Movies and Popcorn, Playground Time, and the Glamour Girl Boutique. There will also be concession food served during this time in the high school Cafeteria.

The Silent Auction will offer items many different areas of interest for opportunities to score some great merchandise and packages. Many of our area businesses have graciously donated unique and interesting items. It will be open also from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Live Auction will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the HS Gym. Kendall Covington from Brookhaven will be our auctioneer for this fun part of Mayfair. Many different price point packages will be auctioned. Some of the packages include: Verdigris iron porch set with plant stands (plants included), a Brazilian cowhide, a giant metal crawfish, handcrafted chair/bench, beautiful planter with a lemon tree, and a full-sized American Girl Doll House with Grace, the newest American Girl Doll with four of the rooms  fully furnished.

The “More” in Mayfair and More is the Mayfair Market.  This fun and interesting market will include many handmade craft items, food, and fun objects that were found at the Canton Flea Market.

Jams, soaps, hand painted glasses, birdhouses, and many other unique items will be available for sale. Many of these items were made by Trinity parents!

The PreK and Kindergarten classes are selling some fantastic homemade sweets — cupcakes, cookies, cakes and pies.

Another fun addition is the ’70s Rockin Revue! This is an all-school/staff program that is sure to bring a lot of laughter to the event. Each class picked a song from the ’70s and will have two minutes to dance, sing, or skit.

The Revue will begin at 11 a.m. in the HS Gym. A special number will be performed by the teachers and staff.  Don’t miss this!

Following this will be the campus dedication. The Trinity flag pole will be dedicated to Mr. Tommy Armstrong – a long time Trinity supporter.

All of this will definitely make you hungry so lunch will be available also.  The adult lunch is a pulled pork sandwich with sides and for the younger kids, a hotdog sack lunch will be just the ticket.

The Community is encouraged to come and enjoy Mayfair and More on Saturday, May 2, beginning at 9 a.m. on the Trinity campus, 1 Mallan G. Morgan Drive on U.S. 61 South.
