FAYETTE — Services for Jessie Ware, 78, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home in Natchez and at 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Ware was born June 20, 1945, in Jefferson County, the son of Henry and Gertrude Carradine Ware.
He was a member of the Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; one sister; one son-in-law; and one niece.
Survivors include one son, John Williams and wife, Joyce; two daughters, Bessie W. Allen and Diana Williams, all of Natchez; three brothers, James Ware of Natchez, Bernard Ware and wife, Elaine, of Dallas and Terry Ware and wife, Lorraine, of Fayette; five sisters, Ruby Ware, Thelma Grayson, Laura Johnson and husband, S.D., and Debbie Mims, all of Fayette, and Deloris Green of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
