Robert and Mary White of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra L. White to DeQuan Bivins, son of Rosie Smart of Quitman, Ga.

She is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Alcorn State University in Lorman, Tennessee State and Mehary Medical College in Nashville, Tenn.

She is employed by Meadows Dental Association in Atlanta. She is the granddaughter of Lucille Anderson of Natchez and the late Frank and Louella White of Cannonsburg.

The groom is a graduate of Brooks County High School in Quitman, Ga., a graduate of Fort Valley State in Fort Valley, Ga., and Howard College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. He is self-employed.

The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at LeBam Studio & Events in Atlanta.

A reception will follow at LeBam Studio & Events.
