FERRIDAY — Ferriday Police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting that occurred at Concordia Park Apartments on Kyle Road.

Ferriday Police Chief Derrick Freeman said the victim was Zan’Ron Williams, and only one arrest has been made so far in the case.

James Hollins, 23, was booked into the Concordia Parish Jail at 3 a.m. today and charged with second-degree murder.

“As of right now, we have one person in custody,” Freeman said. “Everything is under investigation.”
