NATCHEZ — Campaign finance reports for candidates for county offices and state offices were due May 8.

Candidates for county office filed with the Adams County Circuit Clerkj’s office and state candidates filed with Mississippi Secretary of State’s office.

Fifteen candidates did not have reports on file in the Adams County, while six candidates reported no donations or expenses. Another four candidates reported no donations even though they had some expenses associated with their campaigns.

The race that has thus far drawn the most money is the for Adams County Sheriff, with four candidates reporting a total of $36,375 in contributions and $21,385.35 in expenses.
