Jerel and Sharon West of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth West to Michael Roach, son of Cynthia Roach and Bill and Martha Roach of Madison.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, La. She is employed by Davis Magnet School in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Jane West and the late Jerel West Sr. of Lafayette, La., and the late Ralph and Joyce Wooldridge of Ruston, La.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkvile and a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He is employed by UMMC in Jackson.

He is the grandson of Mary Ann Aycock and the late S.L. Aycock of Rose Hill and the late Joseph “Pete” and Margaret Roach of Newton.

The wedding will be Saturday, July 18, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

A reception will follow at the Mississippi Museum of Art.
