NATCHEZ — A celebration of life for James E. Wilkinson Jr., 70, who died March 13, 2015, in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Wilkinson was born Feb. 15, 1945, the son of James E. Wilkinson Sr. and Mary Kuehn Wilkinson.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired towboat captain who served 35 years for Canal Barge Company of New Orleans.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Karen Wilkinson; one son, Trey Wilkinson and wife, Cory, of Castle Rock, Colo., two-step daughters; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and a number of nieces and nephews.
