VIDALIA — Larry Ralph Lawrence, 74, of Vidalia, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Lawrence was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Brawley, Calif., the son of Eugene Dawson Lawrence and Annette White Lawrence.

He was employed by Reagan Equipment Company for more than 30 years in the auto parts department.

Mr. Lawrence proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann Lawrence; three daughters, Brenda Sahawneh and husband, Magdi, of Indiana, Reneé Powell and husband, Lamar, of Texas and Barbara Lawrence of Gonzales, La.; three sons, Rodney Lawrence and wife, Michelle, of Texas, Michael Lawrence and wife, Mary, of Leesville, La., and James Lawrence and wife, Alethia, of Vidalia; two brothers, John Lawrence and Chris Lawrence; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Lawrence’s name.
