NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Harvey “Pete” Twiner, 90, who died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Maher officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel.
Mr. Twiner was born April 27, 1925, in Copiah County.
He was a retired oilfield worker and he was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; three sisters; two sons; and two daughters.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Twiner of Shubuta; five sons, Sidney Duncan Twiner of Ellisville, Joe Robinson of Waynesboro, Bobby Pedro of Shubuta, David Carmen and Gabe Carmen, both of Natchez; two daughters, Patricia Anne Jones and husband, Frank, of Huntsville, Texas and Daphne McCarty and husband, David, of Waynesboro; son-in-law, Bob Polk of Vidalia; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Justin Hughes, Ryan Twiner, Frank Jones, Joe Robinson, Ryan Robinson and Pedro Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Fife and Joe Robinson.
