MOBILE, Ala. — Memorial services for Martha Frances Hude McElroy, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, in Atlanta, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 2 S. Claiborne St., Mobile, AL 36602.
The repast will immediately follow the services at Cafe 615, 615 Dauphin St., in Mobile.
Mrs. McElroy was born Nov. 29, 1946, in Vicksburg, the daughter of John Hude Jr. and Martha Swinny.
She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of South Alabama, where she received a degree in secondary education and mathematics. She was also a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
Mrs. McElroy was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa McElroy Sibly; one son, Rance McElroy; six grandchildren, Ireland Rollo, Mac McElroy, Summer Sibly, Byron McElroy, Ryder Sibly and Makalynne McElroy; and two brothers, Jackie Hude and George Hude.
