WOODVILLE— Services for Davis “David” Scott Sr., 55, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Earls officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Matthews Church Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home in Woodville.
Mr. Scott was born June 30, 1959, in Woodville, the son of Felix Scott and Annie Earls.
He was a self-employed painter who enjoyed wildlife, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Annie Walker; three uncles ;and four aunts.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ella J. Scott of Woodville; two sons, Davis Scott Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Tyler Scott of Lafayette La.; two daughters, Sparkle Scott of Baton Rouge and Taylor Scott of Lafayette, five brothers, Felix Scott and wife, Mary, Willie Scott and wife, Carrie, Sylvester Scott and wife, Bobbie, all of Baton Rouge, Johnnie Scott and wife, Rosetta, and Robert Scott, all of Dallas; two sisters, Alma Londo and husband, Joe, of North Pole, Alaska, and Betty Scott of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Diamond Scott, Davine Scott, Dylan Scott, all of Tampa and Markeith Mosby Jr. of Baton Rouge; one uncle, Horace Earls of Woodville; and several nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
