NATCHEZ — Services for Mamie R. Bruce, 74, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Promise Hospital of Miss Lou, will be 11 a.m. today at Mount Bruin Baptist Church with the Rev. E. Frye officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Webb/Winfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Bruce is preceded in death by her husband, Saul Bruce; her parents, the Rev. Freddie Williams and Charlotte Stepney Curtis; one sister, Margaret Stepney Minor ; and one stepsister, Lillie Mae Frye.

Survivors include one loving daughter, Charlotte McCoy and husband, William, of Natchez; one grandson, Elbert Clyde Robinson of Dallas; one great-granddaughter, Kynnadi Samone Robinson of Natchez; three sisters, Annie Ruth Fells of Natchez, Winifred Fells Curtis of Houston and Carlisha Fells Curtis of Baton Rouge; one brother, Joe Stepney and wife, Ethel, of Ferriday; two aunts, Eliza Johnson and Ethel Lee Robinson, both of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
