MANIFEST, La. — Graveside services for Floyd Dee Adams, 65, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., with the Rev. Curtis Lambright officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Adams was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Yale, Okla., the son of Floyd Brazier Adams and Ida Mae Burris Adams.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda LaPraire Adams; his parents; and one brother, Bob Adams.

Survivors include three daughters, Krista Tew and husband, Ronald, and Emily Hester and husband, James, all of Brandon, and Jennifer Adams of Jonesville; one son, Brady Adams of Jonesville; three brothers, Bill Adams of Orlando, Fla., Russell Adams and Eugene Adams, both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Sharon Spivey of Naples, Fla., Brenda Freeman of Natchez and Linda Tarver of Ferriday; and five grandchildren.
