VIDALIA — Services for Angella Marie Burns, 43, of Lake Charles, La., who died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, will be 1 p.m. today at Sycamore Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Glenn Waller and the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burns was born Oct. 15, 1971, in Natchez, the daughter of Marvin Lea Jackson and Mary Ann Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, George and Ruth Ables; paternal grandfather, Thomas Andrew Jackson; and paternal grandmother, Eula Foster.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Burns; three sons, Derek Lea Stowers of Lake Charles, Brandon Hunter Stowers and Michael Blake Stowers, both of Natchez; her mother and husband, Miles Smith, of Ferriday; one brother, Ken Jackson and wife, Cherie, of Florence; two sisters, Joyce Jackson Landry and husband, Belin, of Lake Charles and Jena Folse and husband, Brock, of Carencro, La.; two stepsons, Andrew Burns and Jonathan Burns, both of Lake Charles; and two stepdaughters, April Burns of Corinth and Ansley Burns of Boonesville.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Burns, Andrew Burns, Dylan Landry, Pete Ezell, David Swillie and Chancey Watts.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Free, Terry Thacker and Fred Ables.
