NATCHEZ — Commonly known as “A Day in the District,” the Natchez-Adams School District invites parents to its annual day to register their children for school.
The registration will take place on Tuesday, July 21, at Steckler Multi-Purpose Building starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m.
“The extended hours provide parents with a convenient schedule to register their child or children,” said Steven Richardson, the district’s public relations coordinator.
Every school will be in one location at Steckler and offer parents an opportunity to ask questions to staff members about their children’s uniforms, schedules and more.
Parents should bring the following items to expedite registration:
-If the child is a new student, an original birth certificate, two current proofs of physical address that are no older than 30 days, social security card, photo ID, and MS Form 121/Certification of Immunization Compliance are required.
-If the child is a returning student, the items required are two current proofs of physical address that are no older than 30 days and a photo ID.
If a parent has any questions prior to the event, the parent may call the child’s school.
