NATCHEZ — Services for Jennie Ruth Safras, 67, of Natchez, who died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Gibson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Safras was born April 2, 1948, the daughter of Joseph Miles and Anna Safras.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Lee Dawson; and one sister, Baby Ruth Dawson King.

Survivors include one daughter, Caremello Safras Williams; three sons, Cardale Safras, Victor Safras and Adrian Safras; longtime companion, Aaron Frye; five sisters, Barbara Dawson, Ena D. Griffin, Diana Safras, Kathleen Dawson and Janiea Marie Miles; four brothers, Dave Safras Jr., Joseph Miles, Hermen Miles and Charles Miles; seven grandchildren, Brittanie Minor, Cequil Robertson, CaNeshia Williams, Callie Williams, Patricia Ann Carroll, Chase Safras and Justin Safras; six great-grandchildren, Kemarye Mingo, Antonio Garcia, Camron Robertson, Carmen Williams, Caleb Williams and Landyn Williams; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
