VIDALIA — Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn E. Pugh Davey, 85, of Vidalia, who died Friday July 17, 2015, in Vidalia, will be 10 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home -Vidalia, with the Rev. Troy J. Dennard officiating.

Burial will follow in Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home-Vidalia.

Mrs. Davey was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Holly Bluff to Lloyd J. Pugh and Irma B. Rushing Pugh.

Mrs. Davey was a member of the First Baptist Church Vidalia, was once the Senior Regent and Recorder of Women of the Moose Chapter 1298 Natchez and owner operator of Kathy’s Corner in Natchez.

Mrs. Davey was preceded in death by her parents; two sons L. J. West and Bobby West; one sister, Peggy Parrott; one brother, James Pugh; one grandson, Travis West; and one great-grandson James Edwards.

Survivors include her husband Donald C. Davey, Jr. of Vidalia, three sons, Raymond C. West and wife, Ginger, of Vidalia, Larry J. West and wife, Barbara, of Plainville, Kan., and Terry W. West and wife, Jill, of Prarieville, La., two sisters  Marzell Mozingo of Augusta, Ga. and Margrett Brown and husband, Leon, of Clara, grandchildren Mellisa Simpson and husband, Rodney, Carolyn West, Kathryn June Anthony, Connie M. Whittington, Jennifer L. Plante, Jaymme Arnold, Lisa D. Edwards, Jessica L. Shelby, Trevvor W. Thornton, Charlene Jeanise, James A. West,  Michelle L. West, Karen Coldiron and husband, Dean, Amanda Adams and husband, Paul, 33 Great grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dean Coldiron, Barney Watson, Alton Metcalfe Brandon Authement, James West and Roy Jester.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Simpson, Paul Adams and Cody West.
