KIRBY — Services for Sever “Peppy” Harris, 66, of Roxie, who died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Kirby with the Rev. L.C. Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Harris was born Dec. 24, 1948, in Franklin County, the son of Joe Reed and Donis Bradford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clydis Harris, who raised him; one sister, Ruby Harris; and one brother, Carol Ray Reed.

Survivors include two daughters, LaShawn Tyler of McComb and Renae Bethley of Ferriday; a devoted friend, Queenie Woodruff of Ferriday; six stepdaughters; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
