FERRIDAY — Services for Richard “Trent” Crawford, 25, of Monroe, La., who died Friday, July 24, 2015, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, La., were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Larry Walters officiating.
Burial followed at the Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Trent was born Jan. 23, 1990, in West Monroe, the son of Eric Adams and Chasity Mize.
He was a painter and construction worker.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his two sons, Jayden Crawford and Julien Smith, and their mother, Sirerra Smith, all of Monroe; his mother and her husband, Darrell Hash, of Vidalia; his father and his wife, Jessica, of North Carolina; his adopted father, Shawn Crawford, of Mangham, La.; six brothers, Hagen Crawford, Austin Crawford, Dakota Crawford, Caleb Adams, Jakob Adams and Colby Hash; maternal grandparents, Richard and Brenda Mize of Waterproof; paternal grandparents, Edith Jones and husband, Kenneth, of Texas and Bill Adams of Arkansas; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Hagen Crawford, Austin Crawford, Dakota Crawford, Kyle Adams, Billy Adams, Cade Mathews and Corbett Mize.
Honorary pallbearers were Lenny Mize and Richie Mize.
