FERRIDAY — Services for Derrick Dewayne Johnson, 46, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in Little Rock, Ark., from injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 8, 1968, in New Orleans, the son of George O’Neal and Theresa Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, who raised him as her own son, Lula Johnson-Jefferson.

Survivors include his parents; his wife, Julia Riley Johnson, all of Ferriday; four brothers, Demarcus Jackson and wife, Alicia, Ralphaell Jackson and wife, Tina, George O’Neal Jr. and wife, Saunya, all of Ferriday, and Antonio Johnson of Dallas; six sisters, Cathy O’Neal and Linda Johnson, both of Vidalia, Shawanda Johnson of Algiers, La., Shelita Smith and husband, Chris, of New Orleans, Dorothy Warner of Dallas, and Tara Jackson and husband, Tommy, White, Ga.; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
